International Polo Club Palm Beach founder John B. Goodman is the captain of the Isla Carroll team. Goodman has won almost every United States Polo tournament including the US Open twice, the Gold Cup and the Silver Cup. This team has also traveled across the pond and competed for the Coronation Cup and British Open in the 90’s. With Goodman is 2009 Hall of Fame inductee Owen Rinehart of Aiken, South Carolina. Rinehart was one of the only American 10-goalers in the 90’s and has played on the once very competitive Skeeterville team. Rounding out the field is Sugar Erskine from South Africa who played with Goodman on the 2004 US Open Championship team and Canadian Todd Offen, who is considered one of the best defensemen in the sport of polo.
