POLO CLUB PALM BEACH OPENS TO RAVE REVIEWS

A new era in high-goal polo began in Wellington
to enthusiastic reviews with the opening of the International Polo
Club Palm Beach.
Many high-goal players and patrons were among
the crowd of almost 1,000 who attended the first final, including
Memo Gracida, Carlos Gracida, Sebastian Merlos, Agustin Merlos,
Hector Galindo, Tim Gannon, Tommy Boyle and Tommy Lee Jones,
In the George Oliver Cup, Sympatico defeated
Brigadoon 10-9 in memory of its late patron, Pedro Morrison.
The International Polo Club Palm Beach features
a high-goal polo schedule unmatched in the United States in conjunction
with a variety of upscale special events and charity benefits. Throughout

The highlight of the polo season is the 100th
annual U.S. Open Polo Championships, which begins on March 19 and
the finals are scheduled for Sunday, April 18.
