C.V. Whitney Cup - 26 Goal...

Tournament Dates: February 28 - March 8, 2009

Named for Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney, who along with his brother John Hay Whitney, were important polo patrons in the 1930's. Son of Hall of Fame patron Harry Payne Whitney, C.V. was an active competitor with 3 wins in the U.S. Open (2 of them against his brother), and a renowned owner and breeder of Thoroughbred race horses.

The IPC Cup is the subsidiary of the C.V Whitney Cup and is displayed in red.
