Peter Brant has captained and owned the White Birch team for over 25 years. In that time he has won every major title in polo including more Gold Cups than any other team and the once prominent US tournament the World Cup. White Birch captured its only US Open Championship in 2005. 2009’s team has a group of competitors that are no strangers to being called Most Valuable Player. There is Mariano Aguerre a 10 goaler that achieved that ranking while playing for White Birch in the late 80’s and whose skills have not diminished in close to 20 years. Aguerre is joined by 2008 US Open MVP Jeff Blake and 2004 US Open MVP Pancho Bensadon.
